Plastering
Plastering usually consists of 2 coats, applied during the same session. The 2nd coat is smoothed as it hardens to give a smooth finish similar to an eggshell. The time to dry varies depending on the underlying surface, but will usually take a few days. During the drying process the wall will appear darker in the areas that are still moist. Once dry and pale, it's ready for painting/decorating.
